Ichiran Ramen (Tokyo)

We couldn't take the kids to eat here because the ramen has dairy, and when my sister-in-law visited Japan a few months before us, she tried to ask about sesame and she couldn't get a clear answer, however I thought I would include it because they do make an effort to communicate about allergens with an allergy matrix that is also in English.

I presume that since most instant packets of ramen noodles have sesame, that the ramen at Ichiran probably does too, and I assume there is soy as well.

But if for example your kids are only allergic to peanuts, they clearly state that they do not have any peanut in any of the foods. Note that this allergy matrix won't be as comprehensive as you may think, as the "top" allergens in Japan are not the same as the top allergens in Australia so they may not mention everything in this card that you may be used to seeing highlighted on packaged food in Australia.

Husband’s verdict was that the ramen was served quickly and was super yummy!
